Husband: Elisha Goodspeed BEAMAN
Wife: Harriet L HARRIS
Born: about 1798 in Vernon, Vermont
Died: 1851 in Winchendon, MA
Elisha Goodspeed BEAMAN:
Buried: Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon, MA
He was one of 10 children. A hand written note indicated he was a selectman. One set of notes indicates he may have died in 1888. One set of data suggests he was born on Sept 20, 1800 and not Sept 22, 1800 (The 1880 US Census finds him listed in Winchendon, MA along with his wife and a hired hand. James R Hadley, the writer of these notes, suspect that his name is listed because he HAD lived at that location on a farm in Winchendon, MA)
A hand written family note indicates Elisha was working at the "Tennery Milk Farm" In Vernon, Vermont. After marrying Harriet, they moved to Winchendon, MA and workied on their own family farm. They also had a milk business including delivery of same.
Harriet L HARRIS:
According to the 1880 US Census her father was born in New Hampshire and her mother was born in Massachusetts. There is some indication her last name may have been Harris.
On reference indicates the year might have been 1840.
