Misc. Notes on James Walker (1st Gen.) of Plymouth/Taunton
- According to Pope, James Walker came to Rehoboth (Plymouth) age about 15
on the ship Elizabeth with his "uncle" John Browne, a baker to whom he was
apprentised. His sister, Sarah, came on the same ship. She was the servent
of William Bracey, a linen draper, from Cheapside, London. (Pope)
Chosen Deputy from Taunton 1655. Awarded title "Servant of the Church and State".
