There are records that a John Procter age 40, his wife, Martha Procter age 39, John Procter age 3 and Marie Procter age 1 sailed from London and arriving in New England on the "Susan & Ellen in April 1635

In Ye name of god Amen. I John Proctor Senr. being aged & infirmed
in body butt of sound understanding & memory (god be praised) doe
make & ordain this my Last will and testament In manner & forme
following viz first I give my soul into the hands of god who hath
redeemed it by the most precious blood of his deare son Jesus Christ
and my body be decently buried in hope of a happy resurrection
at the last ________. Item: I give my wife fower pound yearly to be
pay in merchantable payed at the price current soo long as she
Liveth. Item. I give my wife martha the milk of two cows
which she shall choose every spring. Item my will is that every
year she shall have a good hog of one year and half of

Came from England on the Susan and Ellen in 1635, at the age of 42, with his wife Martha, age 28, and two children - John, age 3 and Mary, age 1 in 1635. (See Banks ). Settled in Ipswich then moved to Salem. His will was proved November 1672. Pos sibly died in Chelmsford, MA. Will dated 18 August 1672, probated 28 (9) 1672.
